Outstanding in all areas for Giggles and Wiggles inStone
Giggles and Wiggles in Stone were recently inspected by Ofsted who has rated them outstanding in all areas. The nursery cares for 85 children from six weeks to four-year-olds.
Everyone at the nursery on Mount Road is ecstatic with the result. The nursery was previously graded good in their last inspection and has gone from strength to strength to now being recognised as being outstanding
The report commends the staff working at the nursery by saying;
Staff make sure that all children’s starting points are concisely identified and include what each child already knows and can do. This ensures children move on swiftly in their learning and that any child needing to catch up with their peers is identified and fully supported from the outset.
It also mentions that;
Management and staff have a high level of awareness and knowledge about how children learn and develop, both in the moment and over time. They demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment and have the highest possible expectations for all children in their care.
During the inspection, the inspector carried out a joint observation with the manager as well as asking staff some questions. The inspector spent time observing the quality of teaching both indoors and outdoors, here is where she was able to see high-quality teaching and learning being demonstrated and children enjoying their time at nursery.
