Mama Bears Group confident in delivering the 30hrs

New government funding launched at Mama Bears Group

The family business Mama Bears Group is feeling confident about the launch of the government’s new thirty hours free childcare. The nursery group are situated in the South West of England with over twenty-three settings with nurseries across Bristol Somerset and Devon. Husband and wife team co-owners Bev and Tony Driffield were quoted ‘we have come up with an extremely flexible and competitive model’.

The Mama Bears group was founded back in 2002. They are hoping their plan will appeal to working parents; families can make a reservation for solely the thirty hours care or top up by adding paid for sessions. Mama Bears is a well established and highly reputable nursery chain which is open 7.30am until 7.00pm Monday to Friday year round excluding bank holidays and one week at Christmas. The Yeovil setting opens at 6.30am and the Bradley Stoke and Clifton nurseries are open at 7am. The group offer year-round or term time care and parents have the flexibility to request morning or afternoon sessions. Mama Bears are constantly looking for ways to improve and develop their settings to maximise their potential. There will be some charges at some of the nurseries in the group for hot meals. Mama Bears are renowned for their high standard purpose-built settings with a friendly atmosphere. The group have been praised many times for the effectiveness of leadership and management in their settings by Ofsted.
