An updated version of The Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage is coming soon
A new version of The Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage is being published in March 2017 and will be effective from April 2017.
The framework is for:
All early years providers in England (from 3 April 2017)1: maintained schools; non-maintained schools; independent schools; all providers on the Early Years Register; and all providers registered with an early years childminder agency
It is providers responsibility to read this new version and be aware of changes that may have been made, as this may mean changes to practice, policies and procedures. Until the new version is in place providers must follow the latest one.
It is good practice to print this document and thoroughly read all points, also share this document with practitioners.
