Northumberland nursery to receive cash boost

Northumberland nursery creates more nursery places following cash boost

 30 new childcare places are to be created at a Northumberland nursery following a funding boost. The Early Years Childcare Capital Fund is to support childcare providers in delivering the 30hrs free childcare scheme, Government has allocated £50 million,  childcare providers across the country will receive some of this money to help create further childcare places.
 
Busy Bees Nursery in Seahouses, Bedlington West End First School has been successful in receiving capital funding to expand their childcare provision. Funding awarded to Northumberland was £2.07 million, of this condition the local authority had to make a funding contribution of 25per cent.
 
£377,551 will be given to Busy Bees to create 28 new spaces. A total of 291 spaces will be created across the
four settings that will receive the Early Years Childcare Capital Fund.
