Find your local Education Authority Training Courses
Local councils are a great first stop when looking for Early Years training opportunities. Most councils provide an excellent range of Early Years Training courses for their early years workforce, which includes those in all OFSTED registered early years settings.
These opportunities can get lost amongst local council (.gov) sites, so we have published them on Early Years Careers for your convenience. Just look for your local authority and follow the link. If you can’t find your authority, let us know.
Training includes the statutory core topics such as Safeguarding and Health and Safety, as well as many other opportunities for enhancing your CPD portfolio. Even better, these courses are provided at a very competitive price (or even free).
These are a few examples of Early Years Training courses you can find:
- Risky play – it’s OK! (Surrey Education Authority)
- Squash and a Squeeze – Exploring Inspirational Learning Spaces for 3-5 year olds (Warwickshire Education Authority)
- Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Social Communication Difficulties: Resources and intervention strategies for children under 11 years (Milton Keynes Education Authority)
- Stepping into Management – Shouldn’t happen to a manager! (Leicestershire Education Authority)
Have a look at these Local Education Authority Training Courses. You may find just what you are searching for, or something you had never even thought of
